Solar 9335-2 Multiple Impedance Coupling Device

The Solar 9335-2 is a multifunctional impedance coupling device used in various EMC testing applications. Engineered as a split toroid, this device excels in its role as an impedance matching transformer. The Solar 9335-2 pairs with a generator, serving as an injection probe for conducted susceptibility tests. Its design aligns with stringent military and aerospace EMC standards, including MIL-STD-462 (CS10, CS11, CS116) and DO-160G, Section 22, ensuring robust resilience against electromagnetic interference (EMI).

The Solar 9335-2 features an innovative winding configuration, offering versatile step-ups or step-down ratios. These ratios can be adjusted in relation to the source impedance of the attached generator during injection or in accordance with load impedance of the connected receiver during reception. This results in maximum power transfer into or out of the transformer winding formed by the cable bundle passing through the window.

The Type 9335-2 provides:

• 1:1.5 voltage step-up or current step-down
