Vanguard EZCT 2000A Current Transformer Test Set

The Vanguard EZCT 2000A Current Transformer Test Set is a transformer testing device that completes a variety of tests with a user-friendly interface. The microprocessor-based current unit performs tests that include excitation, CT Ratio, polarity, and winding resistance tests. The EZCT 2000A uses an input power of 100 ¬ 120 Vac or 200 ¬ 240 Vac (factory pre-set), 50/60 Hz, and uses the measuring method ANSI/IEEE C57.12.90, IEC 60044-1 and ANSI/IEEE C57.13.1.

The EZCT 2000A has automated demagnetization and can raise and lower voltage output without technician interference. Offering a significant amount of storage, the internal storage includes 128 test plans with each test plan storing up to 10 excitation test voltage and current settings. The external storage can be accessed through a USB Flash drive interface port. This model is also portable and durable.

As a third-generation test set, EZCT 2000A has several complex functions that are immensely useful to fieldwork. A thermal printer also aids in providing technicians with an efficient and helpful device. The display has a backlit LCD screen (240 x 128 pixels and 114mm x 64mm), which can be viewed in both high and low-light levels. The Vanguard EZCT 2000A Current Transformer Test Set works has a current reading range of 0 ¬ 10A; Accuracy: ±1.0% of reading, ±0.02A and a current ratio range of 0.8 ¬ 999: 0.1%, 1000 ¬ 1999: 0.3%, 2000 ¬ 5000: 1%.
