PMM VDH-01 Van Der Hoofden Antenna
The PMM VDH-01 is a Van der Hoofden test-head designed to meet the specifications of the IEC 62493 standard for the EMF assessment of lighting products in relation to human exposure. IEC 62493 covers the measurement of induced currents over the frequency range of 20 kHz – 10 MHz.
The PMM VDH-01 is composed of a conductive sphere that is 210 mm in diameter which simulates a person’s head and a connecting wire to simulate the neck. The network protects the receiver and matches the impedance up to 50 Ohm.
The PMM VDH-01 can be used with any CISPR-compliant EMI receiver. When it is used in conjunction with a Narda-PMM EMI receiver, the measurement settings and the computing functions are automatically performed by the PMM Emission Suite software.
