Electronic Technician

Pay Grade: $27.00-$35.00 an hour.

• Diagnoses, troubleshoots, inspects, and repairs a wide variety of electronic test and measurement equipment.  
• Recognizes failures and setup problems, isolate problems, and take appropriate action to resolve those problems. 
• Performs preventive maintenance functions as directed. 
• Ensures escalation of issues if repairs become problematic or lengthy. 
• Provides support to the Calibration Laboratory and Sales Team on all production assignments and works with other departments for miscellaneous assignments. 
• Troubleshoots electronic components to determine cause and remedy of any malfunction. 
• Ensures that all repairs meet manufactures specifications and exceeds ATEC’s quality standards. 
• Determines if the designated product passes all test cycles. Collects diagnostic information. needed and enters it into our tracking software. 
• Cleans, re-labels and re-packages equipment in relation to the above activities. 
• Fabrication for repair of instruments needed. 

• Knowledge of OHMS law and electronic theory.
• Experience in through hole and surface mount soldering.
